I'm a British-born Canadian visual artist. I went to art school in the 1980's graduating with a BA from Chelsea School of Art in London in 1984.
Since then I have worked for myself within the broad field of the arts and with others in leadership roles with notable non-profit organizations and museums.

Statement
In 2019 I returned from a three year project in the UK to live and paint in the Fraser valley--a landscape that I have always loved.
But the rugged landscape is delicate and knowledge of its fragility in the face of rapid warming brings sadness and tension to the activity of studying it.
I find ways to allude to these changes by recording the drama of ditches, mud and grass, and their interplay of magic that, for now, still clings to the world.
Though I am now located in Nova Scotia, most of the work on this website is reflective of this statement.
